• I have hair extensions because I’ve always been extremely insecure about my hair considering I had an afro until I was 5, and even then it was excessively frizzy and short. I dreamed of having long, beautiful hair like all of my pretty friends. When I was 14, I decided to get extensions so I could live my life long dream. so fuck you, I’m not fake.
• I have acrylic nails because I bite my nails until my fingers bleed. I sucked my thumb until I was 9 and this has been my backdoor option ever since. I keep them well kept, looking classy, and a natural length. so screw you, I’m not sleezy.
• I wear makeup. Ever since I was in elementary school, I was always bullied for being ugly. I would try my hardest, but nothing would work. Pretty girls always say makeup is sending the wrong message, but I disagree. After makeup, I gained for confidence than ever. Even though I still get called ugly at least once a day, I can look in the mirror and think otherwise. so, hop off, I don’t “cake”.
• I wore the bombshell in 8th grade. My older cousin was always ahead of me and I wanted to be just like her. All my friends were growing boobs and had boyfriends, I was lil ugly Jenny. I needed something to make me feel good about my body, and eventually I grew to be a C. Sometimes I wear bras too small for me for an extra pushup because I’m not sure if I’m comfortable with my body still to this day. I threw the bombshell out long ago, everyone goes through that stage. so bitches, stop hatin’ already everyone grows up sometime.

so, everyone who thinks they know the reasons for my actions, they don’t..until now. I don’t have a boobjob. I wish I did, but I don’t. I like my extensions and makeup, they give me confidence. I love my acrylic nails, they keep my hands healthy.
